24 years ago today I married the love of my life
❤️
It was a rushed day as we had traveled from Missouri to Georgia so we could marry in the LDS Atlanta Temple. We had $20 to our name so we rode with my parents. I borrowed a dress which was too big & long. My wedding ring was $100 special from Walmart & his band was $50. It rained, & was cold. Mike was 45 minutes late (he had stayed with his brother the night before) & the temple workers were fearful Mike had gotten cold feet. I was starting to worry he was involved in a car accident, I knew he loved me & wouldn't leave me alone. Only 5 people showed up to share the day with us even though we had expected many more. We were quickly rushed through the wedding ceremony (not even sure what had happened because it was so fast, we were already taking up time for next wedding after us), then took maybe 8 pics on a tiny cheap camera (because there was no one else there to take pics) then jumped in the car with my parents to make the long drive back home. Sometimes we wonder if we should have just eloped, it sure would have been more romantic, but we will be forever grateful for those who came and believed in us. I love lds wedding dresses

There is so much to my life story I won't bother you with but I will share I have never found pure joy as I have with Mike. He truly saved my life. Without him, you all would have never known me. I truly believe there was only one who could have made me this happy. We have raised 7 children together & how blessed to call them ours forever
❤️
We have never been on a honeymoon but that's okay, we still have eternity together. Can't wait for the new chapters of our lives
